Known for its unique blend of European charm and American modernity the next community conference takes us across the northern U.S. border to Canada. Montreal Dreamin’ brings Mulesoft and Salesforce ecosystem communities closer than ever before. This first event iteration takes place later this week and strives to develop a culture of learning and collaboration with like-minded Trailblazers.
This one-day will utilize the Montreal Science Centre, doors open at 7:30 am.
With warm and humid weather during the Summer, for this region, anticipate Low-to-Mid 80s during the day, followed by Low-to-Mid-60s leading up to the night. Rainfall showers show up a few days before and after the event but in case you are worried, sneak in a light umbrella to cover all your angles. There may be some cloud cover but nothing to worry about.
Prepare to enjoy some Campfire, Theater, and Workshop sessions starting at 9 am. Registration opens at 7:30 am with an AM breakfast at 8:15 am. Being the first installment of this community conference, don’t anticipate large-scale audiences with lots of sponsors and attendees spread across a massive venue.
Make sure to bring your portable computer (a.k.a laptops) to all workshops to follow along. But don’t forget to plan accordingly as the Keynote speaker will take place right before lunch around 11 am.
Sessions continue after lunch but make sure to allocate some time between (3:15–3:30 pm) for some HighTea experience which may include a selection of teas along with an assortment of finger sandwiches and some pastries. You won’t want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind tradition.
Sessions end a little after 5 pm, followed by the closing statements and the Post-Event Happy Hours which starts a little after 5:30 pm.
Use the site to plan what sessions to attend. If you haven’t picked up a ticket start here to begin your registration.
This event will include a Keynote session with three different speakers. A panel with a variation of expertise. Should promise to be an audience draw!
First up on the panel list is Greg Poirier, Marketing & Sales Executive and CEO of CloudKettle.
Next is Gal Gavish, VP Product Manager over at Mulesoft (A Salesforce Company).
Last but not least Steve Simpson, VP of Global Enablement and Learning at Copado will also have a seat at the session.
The Keynote starts around 11 am, right before lunch, so plan your schedule and don’t miss out.
This event, just like many others, provides activities before, during, and after the event to enjoy with Trailblazers. Whether you are reconnecting with an existing friend or colleague to meeting someone face-to-face for the first time. Take time to initiate down-to-earth conversations with the person right next to you.
Wine, beer, and other drinks along with some appetizers and food may be served during each activity but vary from place to place. Leverage these moments to learn more and make connections that may nudge your career opportunities to their next level.
Let us know why you plan to attend these community conferences so we make sure to do our research and include them in our next installment!
Until next time keep working hard, smart, and happy. And we’ll see you in the cloud!
